PLEASE NOTE: This should be used in conjunction with our modulator pressure test kit (see below). It can be unhealthy for your transmission to just "guess by feel" where the T-pin should be turned. If you have ever tried to adjust these modulators out on the road while doing tests, you know how frustrating and difficult it can be to reach up under the car, remove the cap, and try to trun the T-pin. The later style shown below is designed so you can reach under by "feel" with your fingers and turn to adjust by small or large increments.

YOU MUST HAVE A PRESSURE GAUGE CONNECTED ( See our full kit below) TESTING IS DONE WITH THE VACUUM LINE DISCONNECTED and plugged. Golf Tee included for this. Only partial instructions for using these tools is included here.  Full instructions are included with out complete kit with includes the pressure gauge. 

The "speed adjusters" will help you easily adjust the tip pin on both types of modulators ( early and upgrade).

The adjuster for the early style prevents the t-pin from falling into the slots when turning it.

The adjuster for the later (upgraded) modulator will allow you to easily turn it by just reaching under the car lying on the ground. (ie road test). Watch the video here for more details.

1981 to 1995 722.3 722.4 Transmission Vacuum Modulator Valve

Only black is currently available, but it will work in all these transmissions. This is the easy-to-adjust upgraded version with the new style pin included.

9/25 Update: Green and Red Modulators are NLA, and we have been informed that they will not be remanufactured. But, do not panic! You may have heard that you must replace your 1981 to 1995 transmission modulator with the correct color top. We have just learned that this is not necessarily true.
