This potentiometer for controlling the dash lights was recently removed from a 300D. It is obvious from the condition that it is a recent replacement. It feels like new and has excellent spring and rod movement and no corrosion.
These steel cupped heat shields go under the rubber mounts to help deflect heat and grease away. In most cases (unless your engine is severely shaking) they will prolong the life of the rubber mounts.
These were removed from an engine idling smoothly with good power. They have not been bench tested, and the tips show some wear.
