Watch the YouTube video below where Kent installs this kit on a GL450. Kent will tell you everything about this kit and why you should do this joy yourself around 100,000 miles. All the procedures are the same for the W221 (non-ABC) and W211 with the V8 engines. The only difference in the tank design is on the GL models.

**Replacing the oil cooler gasket and the o-ring on the radiator hose are very straightforward, and detailed instructions are not included. Video instructions will focus on removing the power steering reservoir service, as that is the most difficult job. This is shown on a W272 V6, but the procedures are the same when servicing the GL 273 V8. A bonus video is included showing Kent get the air out of the power steering system on a 2004 SL500 ( procedure would be the same as required on the GL)
Kent's special tools are included to help you get that stubborn C-clip off the underside of the power steering fluid tank. We include a standard hose clamp for the power steering return hose that goes into the side of the tank. 272273

A new oem gasket for the oil cooler is included and a couple of radiator hose o-rings. You will have to remove the upper radiator hose to complete this job and you should always replace the hose end o-rings.
