You will need to loosen the bottom of the rear shock, disconnect the control arm from the outer knuckle, loosen the inside arm bolts, and drop the end of the control arm down. Kent designed this tool to make it easy for the DIY mechanic to do this job without having to take it into the shop. The instructions that come with the tool start when you have the control arm loose and dropped down. The instructions do not include info on how to do that, but it is just nuts and bolts and you can find specifics easily online. Concerning the instructions: you will receive two videos. The tool has evolved to make it work on the later models. First video will show you the procedure with the bushing is located on the end of the control arm. Second video will show the new version of the tool replacing the bushing when it is located on the rear knuckle. Same tool now can be used for both. The bushing is the same.
This tool can be used on most models from the mid-1980s to the mid-2010s. Check the chassis and years listed below carefully.
