Diesel Motor Mount Bolt or Thread Damage

Due to the high level of vibrations from a diesel engine the motor mount arm threads and the bolts going into them can create some real problems for the DIY mechanic when attempting to replace the rubber motor mounts and when removing an engine. Bolts can become frozen in the aluminum threads, bolt heads can get rounded out, threads can get stripped. How can these problems be avoided and what can you do it any happen to you?
